Material hatch not appearing in 2D section views?

I copied the material catalog to a new folder and edited a few of the hatches. I then changed my "Default Material Catalog Path" in option to the new folder. I've noticed that whenever applying a material to a part, it always defaults back to the c: (Default) location and I must browse for the new catalog, but thats another issue.

I applied a material to a part and then created a 2D drawing with a section view. However, the section view shows a default hatch pattern.

How do I get the crated material hatch to display automatically?
