Hello everybody,
First of all be patient if what i ask its very basic, Im a begginer with ANSYS,so im having troubles to define the material model for the polymers PP and EPS. I wonder if anybody here can help me... Im using the properties from the matweb website but no idea what type of material model i should use in each case.
The model its a child seat for cars. And in the analysis im doing with 25g aceleration i think i will be over the yield stress so i cant apply a linear model. So im using the non lineal isotropic hardening for both materials. But i dont feel like its correct to do that. I research like some ppl used that material model with EPS but i have no idea about PP.
What do you think? Thanks!
