Hi guys!!

How are you doing today? I hope you are fine

I'm stucking in modeling a contanier made of polyethylene, more presicely high density polyethylene. I can't find papers o bibliographi where they specify which kind of material model match better with polyethylene type materials.

Phisically polimers can be modeled as orthotropic materials. But in this case I would like to model as an hyperelastic material.

Any idea??

Thanks!!!

Have a nice day!

I would use viscoelastic material model for that. However, hyperelasticity can be a good choice as well. It depends what material behavior you want to model.

Great!

Do you have any paper o bibliography where I can read polyethylene material properties?

Thanks
