Hi all,
I am trying to model Fused Silica with a shock EOS. Fused silica has an interesting nonlinear elastic behaviour that gives it a negative compressability gradient with pressure, which I would like to model.
The Shock EOS is of the form Us = co + s1*up + s2* up^2
It looks like AUTODYN doesn't support negative s1 or s2 values. Can anyone think of a different way I can model this? I don't have access to SESAME tables.
