Material Performance: Contech A-200? 1

Has anyone had experience with, or can comment on, the performance of A-2000 PVC pipe in a wastewater collection system? Particularly large diameter pipe equal to or greater than 15 inches in diameter? This pipe is made by Contech Construction Products, Inc.

I am concerned that the thin wall construction will fair poorly when subjected to more vigorous methods of cleaning such as roots saws, Lumberjacks and buckets. I'm also looking for any other comments related to constructability, performance and maintenance. This type of pipe is designated as ASTM F949 Profile Wall PVC Sanitary Sewer Pipe.

A more detailed search would probably reveal more information. [ I’m not sure how this particular pipe design, nor the soils or those who will be chosen to install all, are practically different than what has been discussed in these threads etc., but perhaps this will prompt more responses for you.]
