My company has just received a job on a door beam that is from a dual phase steel. I was wondering if any one knows the N,R and ksi values for the follwing steel..... Dual Phase DH 800 + zinc coded. I need to run simulations and this information would be awsome. Can someone help me out? Thanks!

Craner,

DH 800 is not a standard designation according to SAE J2340. Are you sure that this is what you have been given? 700 DH and 800 DL are standard grades, and you can find n, r, and K values for these and other grades using the following link:

FYI, the grades are not identified using the standard SAE J2340 nomenclature in this ASP document either.

Since the actual n-exponent, and R(bar) values may differ from the specification I reccommend getting actual test results from an A2LA lab and seeing how close your real material is to the specifications.

Good day! I'm currently quoting a door beam that is made out of a Dual Phase DH 800 + zinc coded. I need to run simulations and would like the ksi value or any other valuable information. Can someone help me out? Thanks! (If you give me a web site, could you make sure that the information is on there? I have already tried to google it and no information comes up) Thank you and have a great day!
