With reference to ASME Sec.II Part-A Ed.2010 Ad.2011 material certification requirements are as per SA105 Cl.12.0, SA106 (Refer SA530 Cl.21.0) and SA234 Cl.17.0, these clauses doesn’t mention the requirement of addressing the dimensional tolerances in the Mill test certificate. Could anyone please confirm me the following.
1. Whether the latest dimensional tolerances standard with year of edition shall be required to be mentioned in the Mill Test certificates. For example materials like SA105 Flanges - ASME B16.5, SA105 - Forged Fittings - ASME B16.11, SA106 Pipe - ASME B36.10, SA234 Butt Weld fittings - ASME B16.9.
2. If the dimensional tolerances are mentioned in the MTC and the Year of Edition is not indicated - Whether the material can be acceptable or is mandatory to have year of edition?
3. If the Dimensional tolerances code and year of edition mentioned in the MTC is not latest edition. Whether the material can be acceptable? If it can be accepted what is the procedure.
