Does anyone know what is the AISI equivalent for USITEN 355 N2. I cant seem to find any data on this material, this material was used in the construction of a cryogenic storage tank.

Thank you

I don't believe that USITEN 355 is supposed to be the same as AM 355/Pyromet 355. I think that this is referring to a high-strength low alloy (HSLA) steel, also called microalloy steel, that is similar to HSLAS 340 according to ASTM A1011. Grade 340X according to SAE J2340 is essentially the same as the ASTM grade. The numerical value is indicating the nominal yield strength, with 355 being a common grade in Europe, while 340 is the more usual North American grade.
