Hello

Iam looking for information on what math is used when trimming surfaces in NX. Sometimes it adds more poles when trimming two B surfaces. How to control the degree and segments when trimming surfaces?

There is a Modeling Tolerance value that is used when NX must approximate a result, such as when Trimming free-form faces or creating an Intersection Curve when one or more of the Bodies are free-form shapes.

Thanks John and Tomas. These two responses summarizes how the two surfaces get trimmed and how the resulting edges are created.

Is there any way to change the modeling tolerance on an existing solid body ?
