Mathcad Prime 2.0 - Ready for "Prime-time" use yet?

Looking at upgrading our work licences (assorted mix of v11 to v14) up to the latest Prime 2.0 (with a parallel install of Mathcad 5 M010, which is needed to get legacy worksheets into Prime).

My testing has been pretty positive with Prime 2.0 - they seem to have reinstated most of the hard-core maths functionality that was left out of Prime 1.0, so there was simply no way I was going to spend any time playing with it. I had quite a few worksheets that didn’t translate "clean", but the problems were mostly addressed in the Migration Guide, and were generally easy enough to fix.

Just wondering what others think - have they encountered any problems with Prime 2.0 that would prevent them from recommending it? (The parallel copy of v15 will give us a fall-back, but I would rather make a clean break if it is practical to do so.)

Correction:

Is a parallel install of Ver. 15 still necessary? My email upgrade offer does not mention Ver. 15, so I assume that I would have to pay extra, which would make the upgrade unreasonable. Under "Features" in the PTC Webstore, it states

Backward compatibility – You can use engineering worksheets saved in previous versions of Mathcad. Mathcad Prime 2.0 can convert most data in older Mathcad worksheets back to version 7.0, minimizing any work to recreate calculations and worksheets. Instant feedback by the converter provides a summary of each worksheet brought into the application and flags any specific compatibility issues where functionality is not matched.

We could not run the Converter until we parallel-installed Mathcad 15 M010. (It wouldn't even run with Mathcad 15 M005.) From page 7 of the Migration Guide which came with the Prime 2.0 trial download:

Legacy files are worksheets that were created using previous versions of Mathcad.
You cannot open legacy files directly in Mathcad Prime 2.0. However, you can use
the Mathcad Prime 2.0 XMCD, MCD Converter to convert .mcd, .xmcd, .mct,
.xmct, and .xmcdz legacy worksheets to Mathcad Prime 2.0 .mcdx format.
This chapter provides instructions for using the converter.
Note:
• To convert legacy Mathcad files to Mathcad Prime 2.0 MCDX format,
you must have Mathcad 15.0 M010 installed. Otherwise, the converter
will not function properly. You can download Mathcad 15.0 M010 from

• You can use your Mathcad Prime 2.0 license for Mathcad 15.0 as well.

Just went back on maintenance (you have to pay for bug fixes) for MathCad 15 M010 and downlowded the free Prime 2.0, got the license file via email and copied/renamed it to c:\ptc\license.dat and mathcad 15 ran just fine, same as ever, not sure what bugs were fixed.

Installed Prime 2.0, and it will not run. I get the spash screen and then nothing, it just fades away after two minutes.

Any idea why it won't run, even in trial mode?
