Hello [pc2],
I hope this message finds you well. I am currently working on a Matlab Simulink project for a school assignment [pc3], focusing on creating a simulation of energy distribution between a supercapacitor and a battery on a bike. In my attempt to design an active system, both the battery and fuel cell operate in parallel. The energy distribution is managed by a low-pass filter utilizing the fuel cell when high power is required.
I have successfully developed a Matlab code capable of converting an image profile into an actual speed profile. Subsequently, this speed profile is transformed into a power requirement. However, I am encountering challenges in the later stages of the project [sadeyes].
In my effort to enhance the accuracy of my model, I incorporated PI controllers to mitigate and rectify the power demand. Unfortunately, I find myself in a complex situation with three PI controllers, making it difficult to define them using the Ziegler-Nichols methods. The interdependence of these controllers has complicated matters .
To further refine the signal, I attempted to implement a DC-DC converter (via an integrator), but I am uncertain about its effectiveness [ponder].
I have attached all the relevant files for your review. If you have any spare time and could provide insights or suggestions to enhance my model, I would be immensely grateful.
Thank you in advance for your assistance. And sorry for my crude english, I'm a baguette boy [medal]

Best regards

Supercondensator is supercapacitor in English. Sorry, I no longer have Simulink so can't open the file. I'd have thought in general digital control, that is a block of code, was more useful for this than trying to tune PI controllers.

Thank you [thumbsup2], I've updated "supercondensator" to "supercapacitor"...
Appreciate the info, I'll have a look at this block [pc]
