I just had same problem on a FF-510 Horizontal. Seems the program was calling for thru coolant and we didnt have the option. Sure enough though I found a contactor for thru coolant and it has evidently been cycling for the past 2 years. The overloads went bad and started giving this alarm. The overload did not show any sign of being tripped and you couldnt feel it reset when you tried but the alarm would clear when overloads were reset. I took all the M51's out of program and running great.

alot of the smaller mazaks had a little sub panel box somewere in the general area of the pumps on the back side of the M/C usually in a spot you would never think to look. Double check around your m/c and look for any junction box's large enough to hold a contactor thats probably were you will find it not in the main cabinet.

Check the motor starter in the controll cabinet, If thats not it some of the motors have a thermal sensor built in which can not be reset without taking the motor apart.

This alarm could be a fan motor tripped there is a fan on the spindle side of the machine that plugs up frequently and on the newer models they but a fiber filter behind the sheetmetal cover that you cant really tell that it is even there. does the machine power up with this alarm????
