In NX 7.5, file->open dialog, MB2 button is not working.

In other machines where XP 64 bit is installed, MB2 will work fine in the file->open dialog.

Here is the difference I am pointing to:

1) In XP 64 bit OS, File -> Open -> MB1 to select the part-> MB2 to click OK button on the dialog.

2) In Windows 7 OS, File -> Open -> MB1 to select the part-> Click OK button on the dialog (since MB2 will not work)

Is there any fix for this problem.

I'm not sure that NX was ever intended to work that way.

You see, selecting MB2 to get an OK is an 'NX' thing (actually that's not quite accurate as you will see below), but the File -> Open dialog is a Windows object and the only 'accelerator' key for the 'OK' on that dialog that I'm aware of is the 'Enter' key.

In NX, MB2 does NOT equal 'Enter' but rather it performs what we call the 'Default Action' which in NX dialogs is the item which is shaded 'GREEN', which is often, but not always the OK button. But when it IS the OK button, you'll know that to be the case as the button will look like '[ OK ]'. Note the color, or should I say lack of color, of the OK button on the File -> Open dialog.

Yes, I know the NX dialog functionality that you have mentioned (Green button for Default action).

The OK button on the NX file open dialog triggers (althogh the OK button did not turn green in either case) for MB2 in all other OS versions (XP 64/32 bit) except WINDOWS 7 64 bit (I am not sure about WINDOWS 7 32 bit).

If NX file Open Dialog is OS dependent, as you have mentioned, then MB2 should not have been worked in any versions of OS.

Just my 2 cents but on my Win7 machine a wireless mouse I was using had issues with the scroll wheel not working very well.
It should act as a zoom function but it would sometimes work and then not. Switching to a different mouse fixed the issue even though it is still using the same drivers since both mice are Microsoft products.
Maybe try changing the mouse to see if it fixes your problem.
