I want to know what does MDD means or stands for. I am looking at a Boeing part drawing and it has MDD pointing to a surface.
Thanks for help.

I don't know exactly what the acronym stands for but it is referring to a specific contour / surface. Boeing has MDD drawings that contain 3D data points that define the contour of various components. For example, the slat leading edge curvature is defined by a MDD drawing.

Star IRstuff, that may come in useful for something I'm looking at.

That is worth a star. I'm fairly new to this world, but we do some work with Boeing...nice to have a definitions reference!
