MDEA leakage from CO2 Stripper at Ammonia Plant

Hello Everyone,

We have been having problems with leakages from our CO2 stripper at Ammonia plant and I was wondering has anyone encountered these on their plants and has anyone attempted online leakage mitigation or removal. the operating pressure and temperature of the column is 25 PSIG @ 252 deg Fahrenheit.

The most common cause for solvent loss in CO2 absorption units is due to foaming in the contactor, resulting in carryover of solvent into the overheads gas stream.
