Hi.

I'm new in this forum and maybe my question is stupid or simple

I know that the 1E equipment is safety related equipment. Is that the only meaning

1) For what stands >1< and for what stands >E< ?

2) Is there other equipment with other characters ?

2 or 3 or 4 and so on
A or B or C and so on

1E usually stands on it's own without clarification... everyone knows what it means.

I would assume:
E stands for electrical. (1E designation only applies to electrical equipment)

1 stands for safety-related. Many plants have quality class designations where the lowest number "1" is safety related. There can be higher numbers which are quality related but not safety-related. The highest number would be non-quality / non-safety.

(2B)+(2B)' ?

... everyone knows what it means ...

I'm not ;-)

Class 1E is defined in IEEE standards 308,328 and more.
Class 1E systems are those essential for the safe shut down of the Reactor and the preventing the escape of radioactive material to the envonment.

"everyone knows what it means"

I just asked my wife and she said, "What?" so the word, "everyone" is simply incorrect.
