Measure Farthest Distance

Does anyone know how you would measure the farthest distance between two curves or surfaces?

The measure distance function only seems to output the closest distance...

Reconbomber,

If you have the BMX module you might be able to do this. Try placing a point on each object that will allow you to control the dimensions (along curve will work for curves and offset from two datum features for surfaces). Then create an analysis feature that will measure the distance between the two points. By then using the optimizer you can make the objective the maximum distance by allowing modifications to the dimensions that place the point. Not only will you know the maximum distance this way, you will know where it is from.
