Is it possible to measure the minimum bend radius of a studio spline?

As a curve I don't think so, but you can go into Analysis>Geometric properties and then select points along the spline at which it will report the approximate radius. Splines of course do not have true radii.

Another useful method might be to simply extrude a sheet based on the spline and then analyse that for it's minumum radius. Supposing the the studio spline is planar this will be an accurate method.

Actually there is.

Go to...

Analysis -> Curve -> Curve Analysis...

...and when the dialog is displayed, in the section titled 'Analysis Display' set the 'Label Value' to 'Radius of Curvature' and toggle on the Show Label option 'Minimum', and there will be displayed near the point of minimum curvature an on-screen text string showing the minimum radius (if you go to the 'Points' section of the dialog and select the 'Create Peak Points' button, a point will be created at the actual location of the minimum radius).

Awesome, thanks for that
