Measure Thickness in v5

Using V5R16. I've seen the Measure Thickness command available in R15 and R16, but only sometimes. Is there a shareable product or a license I need to grab for this command to appear? By default when I open CATIA, the measure thickness command is not available. Help!

according to the help files; the Measure Thickness option is available with the DMU Space Analysis license, but only when the Shading With Edges rendering option is used.
