Measuring high intensity electromagnetic field

Dear All,
I'm looking for informations about measuring electromagnetic
field of tv transmitters and about measuring antennas for this purpose. Know anybody some paper or book
where it is described?

These days, RF Engineering is a specialized field within Electrical Engineering.

There are field strength meters which may be rented from places like Tucker Electronics, but the operation of the equipment and interpretation of the data is best left to a professional in the field.

I am not familliar with your particular location, so it is hard to recommend someone to do your measurements.

Yes, I realize that you probably hold an advanced EE degree, so do I. I work in broadcasting, however when I need documentation, I contact our CE who has the experience and expertise. If your reason for measurment is for an FCC application or complaint, it is best to use a person known to the commission.
