Hello,
Can somebody recommend a test strip method for measuring pH in low alkalinity (15-80 mg/L as CaCO3) potable water? The pH test strips we are using have a note that they tend to read low in water with Total Alkalinity < 80.
Thanks much,
Robert

pH is measured with a calibrated pH meter in the field or a sample is sent to a laboratory, test strip are for pools.

You can also get a Color wheel comparator that uses tablets or powder sachets. These give good repeatable results. But I agree with the previous post.

I caution on samples sent to the lab, in transport and time the pH can change especially with low alkalinity water.
