Dear Colleagues
I was looking the tender document for testing soil for Agriculture purposes and of the test is to determine the porosity of the soil. I would like to know if there is any method of measuring soil porosity in the field.
thanks.

You might explain more of the purpose. There are numerous soil engineering tests for field measuring, but usually the property needed is termed (by geotechnical language) as the hydraulic conductivity. One use of some of these tests is to find the infiltration capability. Also define porosity in your usage, in terms of void ratio, or percentage of voids per unit volume, etc. if possible. Then test types can be discussed here.
