measuring turbine CFM from a turbo 1

ok im very new to this site and i am not a genius or anything. ive read alot of threads on here and you people are going somewhere in life i wish i had such knowlodge. anyways i was just wondering if anyone on here knew how to go about finding how to measure how much CFM a turbine from a turbocharger can flow? or if you can point me in the right direction in where i can find that. sorry if i posted in the wrong section.

You want a turbine map, if it is indeed the turbine you are talking about. If you mean the compressor, then you want the compressor map. The turbo manufacturer provides these maps, though not necesssarily for the asking.

Turbine maps can be depicted in several different ways, but typically is "swallowing capacity". The catalog on the Garrett website includes these turbine maps as well as some good tech.

yes im looking for turbine not compressor and i know how to read compressor maps more then willing to learn turbine maps. thanks man hope this helps.

and navigate your way to one of the catalogs. They may take a long time load but I know the older catalogs at least have some turbine maps; I haven't looked at the 2009 catalogs.
