Hi everyone,
I need to complete an integrity assessment in a furnace operating in a Sulfur Recovery Unit, assuming this furnace eventually goes through a deflagration conditions.
Trying to get information on this regard,I have found out detonation is pretty much the same than deflagration (however detonation damages are more severe}.
Is there an approach through which I can simulate the worst conditions, in case the furnace comes up a deflagration or detonation conditions?
Which kind of calculations should be driven my assessment from the mechanical standpoint?

Thank you very much in advance for any help
