Medium Class Carbon steel Pipe

Hi Dears ,
recently i got a Project for Stress analysis in Australia but i have a problem , Most of pipe in that project selected according to AS/NZS Standards , which pipe classified by Light /Medium/Heavy / ...ETC Terms and i am not familiar to these, on the other hand
i need to have access to some Properties such allowable Stress and ... of Relevant Pipes for Progressing in my project ,
Could You please Guide me about relevant Codes and Standards in AS/NZS till i could get info about Pipe .
USED PIPE :
MEDIUM RATE CS
HEAVY RATE CS

You need to know what the pipe application is for.
It's a request to the Project and/or Client for the specific Code and Standard regarding the piping service.

Have look in AS4140. This should have design stress vales for AS pipe.

I guess this specification was copied from another country, We do not specify or name pipe wall thicknesses as you have given in Australia for piping projects. Could this pipe be not for process or power piping application?

dear Kevin , AS4140 wrote according to B31.3 and B31.1 but in some Content Follow other Standards and Codes ,
Dear Splanti this Classification Come in from EN Standards ,
i have friend from En and he guide me :
Light = PN 6 ---- Medium = PN 10---- Heavy = PN 16 and Etc

It sounds more like a classification for plumbing materials.

A bit like asking for black carbon pipe. Vague description of a material but everyone in the trade knows what you mean.

As i suspected I think this is pipe used by the building industry for water pipes, chilled / hot water or similar.

however I would use those stress values and wall thicknesses if you can find them in that spec (EN 10255). I can't believe they will be any different.

What sort of system is this stress analysis for?

Ok - I will Search for relevant specs and extra info ,
we use this classification to Select pipe for a LPG Plant Fire water system but my friend in the UK uses them for some other plant Piping .
