I'm considering using a packaged membrane wastewater treatment system for a 50,000 gpd application at a park/campground. I have designed several WWTP's and a membrane water plant, but not wastewater. Any tips to offer, or things to look out for?

Membranes look like a nice product but are extremely expensive at $700,000 or so.

I would just make sure that your client is interested in spending that kind of money. I get the idea that because of the cost, only projects that have limited site space or have extreme discharge requirements will be interested in pursuing the membrane equipment.
