Mercury-Aluminum Amalgams

How much mercury do I need to have in order to have a concern with the formation of a Mercury Aluminum Amalgam?

I have a display for a military application that has flourescent tubes for a backlight. If the tubes break, the mercury vapor is freed to be distributed around my aluminum chassis. Is this a problem? I have to document the answer to my customer, so online references would be nice.
