I am not sure whether this type of posting is allowed here but here goes... I am in urgent need to find some spare parts for a Merlin Gerin Hexabloc GTH7 72.5 kV GIS circuit breaker. I would appreciate any leads as to where parts might be available, or if anyone knows of any used GTH7 72.5 kV GIS circuit breakers that may be available. These are required to repair an arc damaged breaker as new spares are not available.

Many thanks in advance.

Does anyone know any history about MG hexabloc GIS? Information is as scarce as hens teeth. The Hexabloc range of GIS seems to have been built by Merlin Gerin in the 1990's but stopped fairly quickly - I dont know whether that was around the time that Schneider acquired MG or what. There does not seem to be many Hexabloc GIS installations around the world (or if there are, I cant find any). It appears that what Hexabloc systems are still in use are supported by Siemens - I don't know how or why Siemens is supporting it and not Schneider. Does anyone know of any aftermarket supplier of spares for Hexabloc GIS equipment, or any other 3rd party service companies that support Hexabloc?
