Hi,

I am running a couple of simulations in ANSYS workbench 18.1, and I need to mesh a geometry (body) with a given number of elements. I tried to adjust element size, but I can't get the exact number of elements I want.
-My question is: is it possible to specify the total number of elements for a mesh in WB?
I also tried to import the mesh using FE modeler. However, the mesh exists for another body.
-Is it possible to apply the existing mesh to another body, keeping the number of elements? I know that element size and node coordinates will vary, but that is not important for me.

Any help is appreciated,
Best regards,
AndradeSilva
