Metal Deck Specification

I'm trying to insert a metal deck with concrete topping into my design, although it does not seem to allow me to add a deck without having shear studs within the concrete. For small spans we don't normally use shear studs, is there a quick drop down list that I am missing or should I be looking at just reducing the spacing and size as much as possible?
