More likely a cooling water leak in a melting furnace and a steam explosion.
I have seen these take out natural gas lines and create some real disasters.

i am get flash back to wet steam tables and entropy enthalpy thermo....

Going to have beer.. LU decomp of stiffness matrix's might surface next.. and some pervert will start talking about naiver stokes!!!
 
From the latest update, it appears that at least one person was killed in the explosion:

Several cars were seen crushed by flying debris outside the Bedford foundry, located southeast of Cleveland.
