I have noticed that many of the issue discussed have a coolant and/or filtration issues and they don't seem to be handled very well.

I have 30 years experience in selling, applying, problem solving and design and testing of MWFs for one of the major North American fluid manufacturers. Would it be helpful if I started a form on MWFs and tried to deal with the issues associated with the selection, maintenance and management of coolants, cutting oils, rust preventatives, washing compounds etc.??

I would appreciate any input either for or against!

Sure, if you like and the moderator allows.

I have been teaching fluid management for maybe 15 years now. Seems to be a topic like preventive maintenance in that there are believers and non-believers and it is hard to convert someone. It is really too bad since fortunes and lives are lost yearly due to bad fluid management.
