Metallography Image Analysis Recommendations? 2

I am in the process of evaluating various image analysis systems, specifically for use with analyzing thermal spray / plasma spray coatings. I have found a number of packages that have the capabilities I desire, but are not geared for coatings or able to handle the natural variation found within thermal spray coatings. Any recommendations of products I should take a look at or horror stories about ones I should stay away from? Thanks for the help!
