Meter Test Set

Hello,
I have an old (30 yrs) kwh meter test set. From what I can find out it takes 240V delta and thru a variac produces 110V open delta. I am trying to see if this set will work on 110V single phase since the testing of 3 phase meters is not required, only single phase. Any reason why this will not work?

As long as you do not need to test at 50% power factor. PF tests require three-phase input to the test set.
