metric bearing problem

i need to insert a bearing 80od 35id 21w but i dont under stand what it wants me to do.

nothing from google, youtube or solidworkshelp was helpfull
i have the solidworks bible but like alwasys no help from it

how does the metric bearing feature of toolbox work does any one know of a tutorial that would be very helpfull thanks

well i have checked bearings in the toolbox under inch's and i do not under stand that too i tride looking for a tutorial for solidworks toolbox bearing and nothing
 
Hi corey796, I am not sure what you are after. No disrespect intended, but your messages are difficult to read and understand. Ask your question in a clear manner, with some regard to spelling and punctuation, and I predict will get a lot more help:)
 
You must be looking for 6307 bearing (also used on BMW series 5), I'd say. If you have installed and configured your toolbox, in the SKF library (must be selected and enabled) the 6307 bearing should be available. Do note that the 35mm dimension is actually 35.1mm.

steinmini, a 6307 bearing would not have a bore of 35.1 unless it was the crappiest thing ever made. Commercial grade ball bearings are probably one of the most accurate mass produced items, and the bore limits for an ABEC-5 bearing with 35mm bore are -.0002" +0". ABEC-5 is a lower grade bearing. ABEC-9 limits are -.0001" +0"

35.1mm dia. would never ship from a company like SKF.
 
No worries steinmini, the 'net is full of suspect info. Thought it was worth it to try to improve the accuracy of what's on Eng-tips:)
 
Mea Culpa. OT: Russian (actually, old Soviet, CCCP) bearings had extreme tolerances. The Soviet 6001ZZ I had to use instead of loose bearings in some modified bicycle hubs were up to 0.1mm off the original 12.0mm bore. Had to fix all the axles for a proper fit. :(
