I am building a dry sump system for a 1.8L Mazda Miata.
I need a partially threaded flanged head bolt 14M-1.5 x 145mm long that will go through the drive mandrel and extend through the crank pulley into the crankshaft.

Does anyone know where I could get this or have one made. I have searched all the specialty bolt companies and asked our local machinists and no one knows where to get them.

Any help would be appreciated.

Any machine shop would be able to spin one of those up on a lathe without any trouble. Hardest part will be finding a shop that will do a small one off job, without charging the earth for it.

It's just as easy and effective to make your own mandrel and install it over a metric stud. That way the cost, time, metallurgy, and nice rolled threads will be a no brainer.

have you tried calling arp? If you bring those specs to them usually they have a bolt or stud/nut combo. honestly it sounds like a 6.5L diesel main bolt. I'll look at the shop when I get in.
