Metric material tolerance

I am looking for some help with metric tolerance allowable on some aluminum and steel. As an example, I need 1.5 mm sheet (.059 inch) and have been offered .061/.062 sheet. My gut feeling is that this is acceptable, per the rules of the contract on this program, if it is within tolerance I can do it, but I have not had luck finding the allowable deviation on metric materials. Thanks for any help or links that would help.

Thickness tolerance for rolled sheet/strip steel is covered by ASTM A 568M. I am assuming that 1.5 mm thickness means cold-rolled, so the smallest tolerance (it varies with strip width) is + 0.25 mm, - 0.00 mm.

For aluminum sheet, ASTM B209M references ANSI H35.2M for tolerances. I only have ANSI H35.2 (inch-pound units). Again, thickness tolerance depends on strip width, but the ANSI standard allows + and -, not the + only tolerance that ASTM A 568 uses. For a strip width of 39.37 inches, the tolerance would be +/- 0.002 inches (0.05 mm).
