Hi Everyone

I work in the engineering department of a manufacturing company of mining equipment. We currently have had a new engineer directory in who wants to make changes to our drawing borders.

She has told me that DIN 7168, DIN 2310 quality 2 accuracy b
and DIN 3142 are no longer current. Would anyone know the ISO standard that they have been replaced by.
I am sure that DIN 7168 has been replaced by ISO 2768 part 1 and 2 but am having no luck on the others.
Please help.

DIN 7168 has been superceded by ISO 2768.

DIN 2310 has been superceded by ISO 9013.

I could only find DIN EN 3142 Aerospace series - Rivets, solid, universal head, in heat resisting nickel base alloy NI-P11, inch based series. I don't think this is what you mean, but if it is, then this is a current/active standard.

Cory

Thank you Cory

I do believe your right about the DIN EN 3142.
The example border I was given stated
"all surface finishes per DIN 3142"
Do you know what the appropiate ISO should be for this.

Joanne

I show surface finish to be ISO 1302.
