From my understanding, BS 3643 is based the suite of ISO standards, so much so from my experience that I'd go so far to say it just paraphrases them.

I don't know if this is my having worked for a "European" companies for so long in the past, but if BSI has adopted and published the ISO standards for threads (particularly evident seeing as I have a copy of BS ISO 965-1 in this instance), why do they continue to issue an alternative but essentially identical standard?

Is there something fundamentally different that I'm missing?

...and from the perspective of drawings (and I may have to defer to the GD&T forum here), is there a difference between "Threads to ISO 965-1" and "Threads to BS 3643" (on an ASME Y14 drawing, just to throw every flavour in there)?
