Is anybody aware of a table of torque values for common metric fasteners - m2 - m12 available on the internet?

Hi
Keep in mind that bolt torque is 90% friction and 10% elastic energy in bolt preload (stretch). If you need to evaluate the preload to any reasonable degree of accuracy then you must know the friction and coeficients very accurately as well. This is really tough to do in many applications due the the variables in material finishes, contamination, material types, head and flange geometry etc. There are load cell bolts that can be used in an application to correleate torque and pre-load as well as load measuring methods that can be applied between bolted parts. Torque speed can also change things noticably.
