Hello,
I'm working on a project about micro scaled simulations involving the micro behavior of material within the bulk in Abaqus. I have a model consisting of 1/8th of a sphere located in corner of the matrix material and subjected to a uniform tensile load. I am having troubles finding boundary conditions that would for the calculations to be performed without the distribution of the loads as though edges are present in the model. My goal is to have the matrix and sphere deform in such a manner that the particle planes are flush with the matrix material throughout the entire simulation. The planes should be allowed to move in each direction but all movement should not create concavity within the model. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
