I'm interested in touring a facility whare Micro Turbines have been installed. I'm located about 30 miles north of Philadelphia, PA. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jim

Talk to the mfg of several different micro-turbines and get a users list and call some of the users. From that you might take a trip. One more point, if you go to an end users site, DO NOT GO WITH THE REPRESENTITIVE OF THE COMPANY! This will taint the responce of the end user.

Thank you, I've been playing phone tag with Capstone.

Budget adequate time and resources understanding the interconnection application, requirements and surplus sales agreement with your "customer"—the contracted electric utility. Having equipment that is already in service [by others] in the utility’s service territory will help, but not likely eliminate the approvals process and engineering/facilities review, regardless of rosy vendor promises. Don't leave the various permitting agencies out of the loop, either.

Suggestion: Surf web by typing Micro-turbine in the browser, which returns more than 4000 hits
Also, visit
and type Microturbines under Product or Service, which will return 1 company
