Does anyone know of any microcontrollers that have a high-speed (480Mbps) USB controller (either host or device) on them? I find a number of them that have a full-speed (12Mbps) USB controller, but I've only found one micro from Cypress that has a high-speed USB device controller. Am I out of luck?

Off hand I do not. I would hesitate to go that route though as there are so many nice add on chips that you only need to talk to serially and they cover the legal aspect for you too. Not sure if any run 480 tho..

You may have a tough time finding one as there are few mini micros (redundant?) that could support a sustained throughput anywhere near the mark that 480 supports. A separate chip is the way to go here...
