Microstation V8

I am trying to take an excel spreadsheet and enter the information into Microstation to make cross sections and profiles with stationing. Can anyone help me out on how to do this correctly?

what does your raw data excel look like?
Have you got real 3d data ie design strings available?
have you access to Inroads program or MX ? these can do what you want with templates etc
