microstructure analysis in ABAQUS

Hi,
I'm going to simulate additive manufacturing process in abaqus on test plate. My goal is obtianing mechanical and microstructural outputs.Is it possible to get microstructure or phase transition output with subroutine? What is the best choice? I hope you can give me your advice.

Additive manufacturing process simulations are implemented in new versions of Abaqus. Phase transformations are also available. Regarding microstructure, it depends on what you need but there are some features for multiscale material modeling (like mean-field homogenization or Micromechanics plug-in). However, they are not related to additive manufacturing, they are just general tools.
