I have a st'd microwave of 2450 MHZ. The problem is that the vendor put a protrusion inside of the short waveguide and it has been refered to as a director. It's about half a ping ball size located between the Magnetron and the microwave cavity. I have to move the Magnetron and it electronics away from the cavity for mechanical reasons which means a new waveguide. So far no problem except which distance is important to keep for the director. From the Magnetron end or the cavity end of the waveguide to the center line of the new Director. Sorry about that but you may well guess microwave is not a strong point with me.
Thanks
