Whenever I use the Midsurface tool for thin complex geometry, the result is always not accurate.
For example, when I use the midsurface tool to create midsurface for an axial aerofoil blade, the resulting surface is not exactly at the middle and sometimes some portion of the midsurface overlaps with any of the 2 sides of the faces.
'Point cloud' option with the Midsurface tool gives better result but it is also not satisfactory. Another thread describes the same problem but no solution was found.(
Is there any limitation to Midsurface tool and is there any better way to create it?
