Coating requirment please explain how this materail is applied and to what extent does it affect the dimensional requirements of machined part after application. Is it necessary to make allowance for coating?

The coating is applied as a Type VI

REF Ty VI: as with most chem films, there is virtually NO measureable thickness +/- change. There will probably be an increased thickness of +0.0001-inch (+0.0025-mm)... if it could be measured (I doubt if conventional measurement instruments would see any difference).
