minimized windows problem

Hello everyone,
when i minimize documents inside solidworks window, they appear very small with no captions in lower left corner. i can hardly grab and move or maximize the documents. whats the problem here?

this is what happens when i hover my mouse over the icon:

if i left click, it'll close.if i right click on it, nothing happens. only a very small portion of maximize button is visible.

Have you tried running a repair of SW?

Are you familiar with resetting the SW registry key?

What graphics card and driver are you using?

What is you OS and SolidWorks specs/details.

my OS is windows 7.i checked and graphics card and driver is within solidworks recommended specs.I noticed that solidworks does not have that problem in other user accounts of the same OS. so i guess if there is a way to reset registry settings for my account,that would help resolve the issue. how should i do it properly?

To do that you need to close SolidWorks.

Then go to Run> regedit> HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SolidWorks and then rename SolidWorks to SolidWorks_old.

Then when you start SolidWorks, everything will be set to default."

After restarting SW, it will ask you to sign a user agreement. Accept it and go ahead.

Make sure you have backed up your data like SW templates, macros settings, etc.
