Minimum moments in concrete column design

For the design of slender columns for minimum moment, does anyone see the need to use a M*1/M*2 ratio of -1 (constant moment in single curvature) for the calculations of the moment magnifier. I think it should be possible to design for the minimum moment but use a M*1/M*2 ratio of 0.

Majority of these columns are interior-braced columns so lateral moments and gravity moments are not governing the design. Exterior columns will be governed by gravity moments.

What are others people's opinion on this?

Thanks

I would suggest a pattern loading to see if it is possible for single curvature (I suspect unlikely except for high LL). If not, then you likely have your code justification unless there's someother stipulation.
